Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Online Sales Manager to lead our online sales efforts, manage the full customer journey, and achieve revenue growth targets. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in e-commerce platforms, digital sales strategies, and customer experience optimization.
Key Responsibilities
• Sales Strategy and Execution
• Develop and implement an online sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify growth opportunities across digital channels, including website, social media, and marketplaces.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing actionable insights to optimize conversion rates.
• Customer Journey Management
• Drive the end-to-end online sales process, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to design customer acquisition and retention campaigns.
• Enhance the buyer journey by integrating feedback and improving online sales touchpoints.
• E-commerce and Platform Management
• Manage and optimize online sales platforms, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory.
• Ensure timely updates and smooth functioning of the website and other sales channels.
• Coordinate with the tech team to resolve any platform-related issues.
• Team Collaboration
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, logistics, and customer support) to streamline the sales process.
• Train and mentor sales associates in best practices for online selling.
• Data Analysis and Reporting
• Track and analyze key performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, and customer feedback.
• Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on online sales performance and trends.
• Market Trends and Innovation
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in online sales.
• Propose innovative strategies to enhance online presence and customer engagement.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Experience:
• Proven experience in online sales, e-commerce, or digital sales management.
• Strong understanding of online sales funnels and customer behavior.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO, PPC).
• Strong knowledge of CRM systems and sales automation tools.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
