Sr. Project Manager – (Solid Waste Segment) Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to take forward the company’s ambitious growth plans in the solid waste management segment. The ideal candidate will oversee operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and improve key metrics such as recycling rates, operational P&L, and manpower productivity. The role also involves ensuring accurate data reporting, process standardization, and effective vendor and logistics management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor and manage the operational P&L to ensure profitability and cost optimization.

2. Oversee manpower deployment and efficiency to meet operational goals.

3. Continuously improve processes to enhance recycling rates and operational productivity.

4. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards across operations.

5. Maintain data accuracy at all operational levels and implement robust data tracking mechanisms.

6. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to support decision-making.

7. Develop, implement, and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all operational areas.

8. Drive process optimization initiatives to achieve efficiency and sustainability goals.

9. Manage logistics operations to ensure cost-effective and timely transportation of waste and recyclables.

10. Oversee vendor partnerships to ensure alignment with company objectives and performance standards.

11. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals to achieve project and operational objectives.

12. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment that encourages innovation and accountability.

Key Qualifications

1. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the solid waste management sector, including team management.

3. Proven track record of managing operational P&L and improving operational efficiencies.

4. Strong understanding of waste management processes, recycling technologies, and compliance requirements.

5. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

6. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

7. A keen interest in sustainability and solid waste management is highly desirable.
