Job Description: HR Manager – Solar CompanyPosition Overview:
The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes in our solar company. This role is responsible for managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and employee engagement programs. The HR Manager will work closely with department heads to support business goals, foster a positive work environment, and ensure that HR operations align with the company’s values and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates in the solar industry.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding new hires.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and assess candidate fit for various technical and operational roles.
• Employee Relations and Engagement:
• Foster a positive work culture by developing employee engagement programs and encouraging team-building activities.
• Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and provide guidance on workplace policies to maintain high morale.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to improve retention strategies.
• Performance Management and Development:
• Implement and oversee the company’s performance appraisal system to ensure fair assessments and set measurable goals.
• Identify skill gaps and coordinate training and development programs, supporting career growth and technical advancement within the solar field.
• Work with department leaders to create individualized growth plans for team members.
• Policy Development and Compliance:
• Develop, implement, and update HR policies in alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and industry-specific standards.
• Conduct audits and prepare reports on HR activities, employee files, and adherence to policies.
• Compensation and Benefits Administration:
• Oversee payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for employees.
• Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other incentives.
• Evaluate and implement competitive compensation structures aligned with industry standards.
• HR Analytics and Reporting:
• Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, recruitment timelines) to support data-driven decisions and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare periodic reports for management on HR operations, employee performance, and HR program effectiveness.
• Health, Safety, and Compliance Initiatives:
• Ensure a safe working environment by developing and enforcing safety programs and protocols specific to the solar industry.
• Work with site managers to implement occupational health standards and safety training sessions.
• Ensure the company complies with environmental, safety, and labor regulations.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in the renewable energy or construction sector is a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with HR management software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements relevant to the solar industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per month
