Job description
Key responsibilities may include: Data entry: Recording financial transactions into accounting software, including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments. Accounts receivable: Processing customer invoices, managing outstanding balances, and following up on overdue payments. Accounts payable: Processing vendor invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely payments. Bank reconciliation: Matching bank statements to company records and investigating discrepancies. Financial reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. General ledger maintenance: Updating and maintaining the general ledger with accurate financial information. Petty cash management: Recording and reconciling petty cash transactions. Administrative tasks: Filing financial documents, maintaining accounting records, and answering accounting-related inquiries. Required skills: Basic accounting knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles, debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping. Proficiency in accounting software: Familiarity with programs like QuickBooks, Sage, or other relevant accounting software. Attention to detail: Ability to accurately record and verify financial information. Strong numerical skills: Comfortable with calculations and data analysis. Organizational skills: Efficiently managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Communication skills: Ability to interact with colleagues, clients, and vendors regarding financial matters.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 – ₹20,000.00 per month
