Job Description: Faculty Head – Accounting

URBX Knowledge Park is looking for an experienced and dedicated Faculty Head – Accounting to lead and shape our accounting programs with passion and expertise. This role is ideal for a professional who brings together a strong academic background in teaching and hands-on technical experience in accounting and finance. If you have a knack for simplifying complex concepts, engaging learners, and staying updated with industry trends, we would love to have you on our team.

Who we are looking for:

A committed professional with:
✔ Minimum 3+ years of teaching experience in Accounting or Finance.
✔Minimum 3+ years of technical/industry experience in core accounting roles.
✔ A combined 8+ years of total experience in the field.
✔ A passion for both education and the practical application of accounting principles.

What you’ll do:

1. Academic Leadership:
• Lead and oversee the Accounting faculty team to ensure high-quality delivery of course content.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise classes while maintaining academic standards.
• Mentor and guide students, helping them bridge the gap between theory and practice.

2. Training Delivery:
• Conduct engaging sessions on core accounting areas such as Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Taxation, Auditing, and Business Finance.
• Use innovative and interactive teaching methods to create an impactful learning experience.

3. Content Development:
• Design, update, and curate curriculum and study materials that reflect the latest industry practices.
• Develop case studies, assessments, and practical exercises to enhance hands-on learning.

4. Industry Integration:
• Stay informed about industry regulations, accounting technologies (like Tally, QuickBooks, and ERP systems), and current financial trends.
• Incorporate real-world scenarios and problem-solving into classroom discussions.

5. Communication & Student Engagement:
• Foster a positive and energetic learning environment.
• Encourage student participation through discussions, activities, and Q&A sessions.
• Provide regular feedback and support to help students excel.

What you bring:
• Solid professional experience in core accounting roles.
• Strong subject knowledge in financial and management accounting, taxation, and auditing.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience developing academic content and leading classroom sessions.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to stay ahead with continuous learning.
