Job description
We are seeking an experienced UK Accounting Manager to oversee and manage financial operations, compliance, and reporting for our UK-based media publishing company. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, profit & loss reports, and balance sheets in compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS.

Tax Compliance: Ensure timely filing of VAT returns, corporate tax, and other regulatory requirements.

Payroll Processing: Manage payroll accounting, pension schemes, and employee tax compliance.

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and credit control.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop financial strategies, monitor budgets, and provide financial insights to the management.

Audit & Compliance: Liaise with auditors, ensure statutory compliance, and maintain accurate financial records.

Team Coordination: Work closely with UK finance teams, external accountants, and internal stakeholders.

Software & Systems: Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or other UK accounting software.

Key Requirements:

Qualifications: CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or MBA in Finance.

Experience: Minimum 4+ years in UK accounting, with expertise in VAT, payroll, and tax compliance.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of UK tax laws, financial reporting standards, and accounting software.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills to collaborate with UK teams.

Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple financial tasks with accuracy.

Preferred:

Prior experience in a UK-based company or outsourcing firm.

Experience in media, publishing, or subscription-based businesses is a plus.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 – ₹48,000.00 per month
