We are committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. We are seeking a diligent and experienced Accountant to manage our financial operations with accuracy and efficiency.

Job Summary:

The Accountant will handle all financial transactions, maintain precise records, and generate timely financial reports. This role demands a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently within our local business environment.

Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:
• Maintain meticulous records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts promptly.
• Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations Accounts Management:
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring efficient payment and collection processes.
• Monitor customer accounts for outstanding balances and initiate appropriate follow-up actions.
• Address vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Analyze financial data to provide valuable insights to management.
• Inventory Management:
• Assist in the monitoring and reconciliation of inventory records.
• Tax Compliance:
• Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns and other relevant tax filings.
• Stay informed about local tax laws and regulations in Kerala.
• General Accounting Duties:
• Maintain organized financial documentation.
• Assist with audits and financial reviews.
• Perform other accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a retail or wholesale environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of GST and local tax regulations in Kerala.
• Good communication skills in Malayalam and English.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,086.00 – ₹34,198.93 per month
