Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant and Admin Executive to handle the day-to-day financial tasks and administrative responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proficient in accounting software, and capable of maintaining smooth office operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the financial health of the company while supporting administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions using accounting software
• Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, and other financial statements.
• Assist in tax filings and ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, and other local tax regulations.
• Prepare invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Monitor cash flow, payments, and financial transactions to ensure financial stability.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Administrative Duties:
• Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring smooth office operations.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence, redirecting as necessary.
• Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and coordinate travel arrangements for staff as needed.
• Assist with HR-related tasks such as managing employee records, leave tracking, and payroll processing.
• Maintain filing systems (both digital and physical), ensuring confidentiality and accessibility of records.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documents for meetings and business proposals.
• Provide general administrative support to management and staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience (X years) in accounting or administration, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Indian tax laws, including GST and income tax compliance.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi (knowledge of other regional languages is a plus).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred:
• Experience in managing payroll and employee benefits.
• Basic knowledge of HR processes, including recruitment and employee documentation.
