Job Title: Finance/Accounts Manager
Industry: FMCG
Reports to: Director of Finance
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Finance /Accounts Manager to manage our team in the FMCG industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting , Financial Analysis , reporting & managing the entire accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of payments from customers
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Budgeting
– Financial Reporting and Analysis
– Cost Management and Control
– Cash Flow Management
– Compliance with Accounting Standards and Regulatory Requirements
– Financial Modeling and Forecasting
– Identifying and Mitigating Financial Risks
– Providing Financial Insights to Support Business Decisions
Manage and supervise the accounts receivable team to ensure efficient and effective processing of customer payments
Develop and implement processes and procedures to optimize accounts receivable operations
Ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments from customers
Manage and resolve customer complaints and disputes related to accounts receivable
Analyze and identify areas of improvement in accounts receivable processes and implement changes as needed
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Prepare and review accounts receivable reports and metrics to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective communication
Requirements:
– Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification
– Master degree in Accounting or Finance
– 7-10 years of experience in finance, preferably in the FMCG sector
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Proficiency in financial software and tools
– Experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in the FMCG industry
– Proven track record of managing and leading a team
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements
– Proficient in accounting software and systems, such as SAP or Oracle
Desirable Skills:
– Certification in accounting or finance, such as CA or CMA
– Experience with process improvement and implementation of new systems
– Strong leadership and management skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
