Job Title: LIMS Associate Engineers/Developers
Location: PAN India
Experience Range: 1 to 2 years
Qualification: Any degree or PG (BSc, BPharmacy, BCA, MCA, MSc.)
Essential Skills & Qualifications
• LIMS knowledge is required.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a QC laboratory.
• Strong understanding of laboratory practices and their relevance to LIMS applications.
• Hands-on experience with LIMS systems.
• Experience with instrument interfacing, calibration, and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of technical and configuration skills within a LIMS environment.
• Ability to take on challenges and adapt to new tasks quickly.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and Support models.
• Database management knowledge, including experience writing SQL queries.
• Experience in report development, form designing, and other similar tasks within a LIMS environment.
• Strong abilities in testing, documentation, and ensuring accuracy and quality across processes.
Job Description
The LIMS Associate Engineers/Developers will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the LIMS system in a laboratory setting. They will help with configuring, maintaining, and supporting LIMS systems, interfacing with laboratory instruments, and ensuring data accuracy through testing and documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, practical laboratory experience, and a problem-solving attitude to address challenges in the LIMS space.
Key Responsibilities
• Configuration and support of LIMS systems, ensuring functionality meets lab requirements.
• Handle instrument interfacing, calibration, and maintenance tasks as they relate to LIMS applications.
• Write and optimize queries for database management and ensure data integrity.
• Develop and maintain reports, form designs, and other relevant documents within the LIMS environment.
• Perform testing of system functionalities to ensure proper operation and meet quality standards.
• Support the ITIL and support processes for incident management and problem resolution.
• Document procedures and processes clearly to aid in system usage and troubleshooting.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to system issues and challenges, ensuring the smooth operation of LIMS applications.
Key Skills & Qualifications
• Prior experience in a QC laboratory is a must (at least 1 year).
• Strong exposure to instrument interfaces and maintenance.
• Basic technical knowledge and hands-on experience in LIMS configuration and development.
• Understanding of database management and the ability to write and optimize SQL queries.
• Ability to develop and design reports and forms in the LIMS system.
• Familiarity with ITIL, support processes, and incident management.
• Strong documentation skills for clarity and accuracy.
• Detail-oriented, with a passion for quality and problem-solving.
