Job description
We at Emme Designs are looking for a qualified, trustworthy, and reliable PROJECT MANAGER. This role demands a deep understanding of the interior design industry, including materials and execution methods. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, oversee seamless project execution within budget constraints, and ensure the highest quality in project delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities of an Project Manager.

• Interact closely with architects & interior designers to understand the project designs, its requirements, and specifications.

• Review architectural drawings, prepare cut lists, and ensure a thorough understanding of project details.

• Plan and monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion and adherence to deadlines.

• Manage and allocate resources, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, to facilitate smooth project execution.

• Monitor project expenditures, manage costs effectively, and escalate any budgetary issues to the team manager.

• Ensure open and effective communication with the project team, clients, and stakeholders by providing updates, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly.

• Recognize and resolve challenges during project execution to ensure smooth progress and timely completion.

• Uphold and enforce the highest quality standards to align with project specifications and industry requirements

• Keep detailed records of daily activities, monitor project progress, and document any modifications or deviations from the approved designs.

• Foster and sustain positive client relationships by responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, and accommodating specific requests.

• Perform post-project assessments, collect feedback, and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.

• Stay updated on market trends, material suppliers, and vendor options to optimize project execution.

· Must be willing to travel and conduct on-site visits as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in design, civil or related fields is preferred.

• At least 3-4 years of experience in the interior design or fit-out sector.

• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and interior design concepts.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with contractors, clients, design teams, and stakeholders.

• Ability to analyze, interpret, and develop precise technical drawings.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
