• Position: Program Manager – Career and Partnerships
• Location: Onsite – Kochi, Kerala
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in HR, corporate partnerships, sponsorship management, career development, or training programs
• Working Days: Monday Off, Sunday Working (6 days a week)
• Reporting To: Career Initiatives Lead & Program Manager
About the Role
TinkerHub Foundation is looking for a Program Manager (Career and Partnerships) to lead career development programs, build corporate partnerships, and manage sponsorship initiatives for TinkerHub. This role requires experience in career training, corporate relations, sponsorship management, or talent development and the ability to build relationships with industry leaders, secure funding through sponsorships, and create career opportunities for students.
As a Program Manager, you will work closely with corporate partners, sponsors, industry professionals, and campus communities to develop structured career programs, enhance employability skills, and ensure financial sustainability for TinkerHub’s initiatives. You will be responsible for establishing long-term corporate collaborations, securing sponsorships for events and programs, and aligning industry needs with career initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Partnerships & Sponsorship Management
• Develop and execute a partnership strategy to establish long-term collaborations with corporates, startups, and industry leaders.
• Identify, approach, and build relationships with potential sponsors and funding partners for TinkerHub’s programs and events.
• Secure financial and in-kind sponsorships to support TinkerHub’s career and learning initiatives.
• Create compelling sponsorship proposals and business pitches tailored for different partners.
• Ensure regular engagement with corporate partners, maintaining long-term associations for hiring, funding, and mentoring programs.
• Work with internal teams to align sponsorship efforts with TinkerHub’s mission and community impact goals.
• Organize exclusive networking sessions, corporate panels, and industry events to strengthen partnerships.
Career Development & Learning Programs
• Design and implement career-focused training programs, workshops, and industry talks.
• Develop train-the-trainer initiatives, enabling TinkerHub community members to conduct career sessions.
• Organize career mentorship programs in collaboration with industry experts and HR professionals.
• Develop career-oriented resources, including job-readiness guides, mentorship handbooks, and interview prep materials.
Campus & Community Engagement
• Build and maintain relationships with TinkerHub’s campus community members and Campus Leads.
• Train and support campus leaders to conduct career awareness sessions and skill-building workshops.
• Establish a structured talent pool from campus communities, helping students prepare for internships and job placements.
• Facilitate corporate-student interaction sessions, ensuring direct engagement between hiring partners and students.
Career Strategy & Industry Collaboration
• Develop and track career-related KPIs, including internship placements and job readiness.
• Build an internship and job placement pipeline for students and early-career professionals.
• Align industry needs with TinkerHub’s career training and learning programs, ensuring relevant skill development.
• Organize career fairs, networking events, and recruitment drives in partnership with companies.
Selection, Mentorship & Talent Pool Development
• Manage the selection and shortlisting process for career programs and internships.
• Develop and oversee a structured mentorship program, connecting students with industry professionals.
• Build and maintain a tech mentorship network to provide career guidance.
• Establish and manage a talent pool of 20-30 skilled candidates, ensuring they receive training and placement support.
Work Expectations
• Full-time onsite role at TinkerHub’s office in Kochi, Kalamassery.
• Monday off, Sunday working, aligning with community engagement schedules.
• Flexible working hours may be required based on event schedules, sponsorship meetings, and mentorship sessions.
