HIRING PROJECT MANAGER

Experience – 4 – 6 years of Experience in Building Construction, Experience Required in Residential Project

Qualification – B.Tech Civil / Diploma – Civil

Male candidates only

Location – Payyannur, Kannur

A civil construction site project manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. Their roles and responsibilities include:

1. Project Planning

Developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.

Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Identifying resource requirements (materials, equipment, and manpower).

2. Team Management

Supervising and coordinating the work of site engineers, foremen, and other team members.

Assigning tasks and monitoring performance.

Ensuring that safety protocols are understood and adhered to by all staff.

3. Construction Oversight

Overseeing daily construction activities to ensure the project stays on schedule.

Monitoring the quality of work to meet standards and specifications.

Conducting regular site inspections to identify and address issues or potential risks.

4. Stakeholder Communication

Acting as the primary point of contact between the client, contractors, and consultants.

Providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and changes.

Resolving conflicts and addressing stakeholder concerns.

5. Budget and Cost Control

Managing project costs and ensuring adherence to the budget.

Approving expenditures and negotiating with suppliers or subcontractors.

Identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

6. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance

Enforcing workplace health and safety standards.

Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and legal requirements.

Investigating and addressing any safety incidents on-site.

7. Documentation and Reporting

Maintaining accurate records of project progress, materials used, and issues encountered.

Preparing and submitting reports to clients, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders.

Documenting change orders, delays, and other project adjustments.

8. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making

Quickly identifying and resolving issues that arise during the project.

Making informed decisions to avoid delays and additional costs.

9. Contract Management

Managing contracts with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.

Ensuring contract terms are adhered to, including deadlines and deliverables.

10. Post-Construction Activities

Coordinating final inspections and ensuring project handover to the client.

Addressing punch lists and post-construction modifications.

Collecting feedback and evaluating project outcomes for future improvements.

By effectively handling these responsibilities, a civil construction site project manager ensures the successful delivery of projects within time, budget, and quality parameters.
