Operations Manager – Logistics & Fleet Management ( Raw Materials for Highway construction )

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager specializing in logistics and fleet management within the metals sector. This role is critical for ensuring efficient transportation, delivery, and management of our metal products, while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Management: Oversee all logistics operations related to the transportation of metals, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to distribution centers.

Fleet Oversight: Manage the fleet of vehicles used for metal transportation, including scheduling, maintenance, and route optimization.

Performance Optimization: Analyze and improve logistics processes and fleet performance metrics to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies, specifically related to the transportation of metals.

Team Leadership: Lead, train, and develop a team of logistics and fleet personnel, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with transportation vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Budget Management: Monitor and manage logistics and fleet budgets, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on logistics operations, fleet performance, and budget status to senior management.

Land opening process: Provide Support for site opening works (Land)

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

· 5+ years of hands-on experience in logistics and fleet management, specifically within the metals industry.

· Strong understanding of logistics operations, fleet management principles, and transportation regulations.

· Proven track record in optimizing logistics processes and managing fleet operations.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills.

· Proficiency in logistics and fleet management software

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 – ₹35,000.00 per month
