About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant – Accounts Payable & Receivable with a strong finance background and hands-on experience in foreign accounting systems like Sage, QuickBooks, and Stampli . This role involves managing multi-currency transactions, handling AP & AR processes, and ensuring smooth financial operations with international vendors and clients.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Accounts Payable (AP):
Process vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations for international suppliers. Ensure accurate recording of transactions in Sage, QuickBooks, or Stampli . Monitor due payments and optimize cash flow management. Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams for invoice verification.

✅ Accounts Receivable (AR):
Manage client invoicing and collections across UK, Canada, and USA currencies . Track outstanding balances and follow up on payments. Handle chargebacks, disputes, and payment discrepancies. Maintain accurate financial records and reporting.

✅ Financial & Compliance Responsibilities:
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper ledger maintenance. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes . Ensure compliance with international financial regulations (GAAP/IFRS ). Support external audits and provide necessary documentation.

✅ Process Improvement:
Identify areas to enhance efficiency in AP & AR workflows. Work with finance and IT teams to automate processes where possible.
Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field . 3-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable & Receivable with exposure to foreign currency transactions (UK, Canada, USA). Strong knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, Stampli, or similar accounting tools .

Skills & Competencies:
Expertise in multi-currency transactions & reconciliations . Strong understanding of financial reporting (GAAP/IFRS) . Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Financial Modeling). Experience working with vendors and clients in an international environment. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
